There's no better way to enjoy being a pilot than to fly into an event for camping, food, fun, and an airshow with friends. Here are some of this year's best events that you should fly to.

The MODAERO NextGen Fly-In and Aviation Festival near Houston, Texas is a great way to have an awesome time if you're young and love aviation. Between drone races, a huge career fair, and concerts nearly every night, pilots are going to love MODAERO. We're excited about it and hope to see you there with us!
Between airshows, pilots from around the world, and airplanes ranging from jets and warbirds to seaplanes and LSAs, there's something for everyone at SUN 'n FUN. And after your winter, it might be nice to head down to Lakeland, Florida for some warm-weather flying.
Attracting pilots from all over Alaska and the lower 48 states, the Valdez, Alaska Fly-In is the premier event in the USA for bush pilots. You'll probably recognize this fly-in from it's insane short takeoff and landing competitions!
It's the largest fly-in event in the world, with 10,000 airplanes and a half-million people during the week. EAA's AirVenture is like a huge aviation family reunion. And while the arrival procedures might be complicated, you won't regret camping out at Oshkosh this year to meet pilots from around the country and see one awesome airshow.
Head over to Texas for the 31st annual Reklaw Fly-In this year (Dates TBD). Hundreds of pilots fly into Reklaw's grass strip for some fun camping and aviation every year, and you can be one of them.
What other fly-ins will you be attending in 2016?
