About The Job:

We create training content for pilots and other aviation professionals through courses, live videos, and a digital magazine. Most of our content is video-based, and animated motion graphics do the heavy lifting when we explain technical information.

You'll create motion graphic animations, and some still illustrations, that we'll use in our training content. You'll work with subject matter experts and instructors to translate technical information into animations and illustrations. Your work will appear in our courses, as well as articles and videos in the magazine.

An interest in aviation and science is a plus since you're working with aviation topics like aerodynamics, weather, systems, and flight procedures. However, you don't need any technical background. Our writers, instructors, and subject matter experts will help you understand the technical information. You're responsible for design - keeping the information accurate, easy to understand, and interesting. You'll also create intro sequences, transitions, titles, and other graphics.

Software Tools You'll Use:

• After Effects
• Illustrator
• Photoshop

We also use Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid ProTools for editing, coloring, and audio post-production. We'll use your work in these systems.

This position is full-time and work-from-home. We're based in Boulder, Colorado, but you do not need to relocate. Examples of your work are a major advantage. If you're a design-driven artist who likes technical subjects, let's talk!
